Why mobile works here
The Census Bureau's American Community Survey counts about 34,300 Cary residents who work from home, 36.5% of all working residents. Another 56.3% drive alone, and many of them park in an office lot for the day. Either way the car sits still for hours, and a windshield replacement fits in that time.

- A spot where the car can stay parked for the visit, with room to open both front doors.
- Level ground if the car needs a static camera calibration.
- Cover if it's raining. A garage, carport or parking deck all work; light rain can mean rescheduling, because adhesive and wet glass don't mix.
- The keys, or a time when someone can hand them over.
Office lots
If you're at work, we can usually do the job without you leaving your desk. Tell us the building and where you'll park. Some office parks have rules about vendors working in the lot, so check with the property manager first if you're unsure.
After we leave
Leave the retention tape on the molding for the time your technician gives you. Avoid slamming the doors for the rest of the day, since the air pressure pushes on the fresh seal. Skip the car wash for a day or two and leave a window cracked on a hot afternoon.
